Embezzlement Allegations: Liebe allegedly misappropriated approximately $700,000 from the church. The church board reportedly concealed the severity of this offense, and no legal action was taken.

Revocation of Ministerial Credentials: Following the embezzlement allegations, Liebe’s Assemblies of God ministry qualifications were revoked. He was required to apologize to the Florida church and began a restoration program, which he left before completion.

Unethical Relationship: In April 2013, Liebe was dismissed from Pathways Church in Appleton, Wisconsin, due to an “unethical relationship with another woman.” Further investigations revealed relationships with two different women, one lasting over three years.

Financial Misconduct at Multiple Churches: Beyond Fort Myers, Liebe faced accusations of misappropriating church funds from at least one of two Assemblies of God Church missionaries. These financial discrepancies were discovered during audits, leading to further scrutiny.

Circumventing Restoration Processes: After leaving the Assemblies of God restoration program prematurely, Liebe sought new ministerial credentials from Grace International. He secured a position as Senior Pastor at Pathways Church without fully addressing previous allegations.
